Chris Pirillo Community are like Sheep!
Chris Pirillo is a very popular "geek" on the Internet. He has created an excellent community, based around his excellent opinions and knowledge of the computing industry. His 24/7 live stream into his house, is popular way to get involved with Pirillo community.
I have been part of the community for many years, mainly via subscribing to his daily YouTube videos, which are taken directly off his live stream. I have however recently noticed strange thing about his community, they are sheep!
There is a live chat window in each video, most of the time users are posting comments during Chris's videos. Every single comment is in agreement with what ever Chris talks about, its hard not to disagree with Chris with the things he talks about, because most of the time he is right. However, there is one particularly video which I believe backs up my statement.
Chris has always had the opinion that Windows Vista was not up to scratch, and I think we can all agree with that, and so does his community when you watch past videos. However, one video he was saying there is nothing wrong with Vista and its the user and their 'junky' hardware which is the problem, then at the end of the video he gets a Blue Screen. He was joking during that video, even the BSOD was set on cue. However, if you watch the chat box, yet again the community were agreeing with what Chris was saying, even though Chris was joking and the community were unawares of this.
